The Heart Behind the Readings: Why Love Is My Signature & My Guide

If you’ve ever received a reading from me, you may have noticed a little something at the end of your notes: ♥️ Jody.

That heart isn’t just a flourish. It’s a promise. A reminder. A quiet testament to the truth that guides every session I have the privilege of holding:

It began simply enough years ago. After my very first private reading, I felt a deep urge to sign the notes I’d taken—not just with my name, but with a symbol that captured the essence of what had just transpired. A checkmark felt too clinical. A star, too flashy. But a heart… a heart felt true.

That session, like every one that has followed, wasn’t a transaction of information. It was an exchange of energy, a sacred moment of connection built on vulnerability, trust, and most importantly, love.

That little heart was my way of sealing that moment. Of honoring the love that your loved ones poured through me and onto the page. It was my quiet vow that what you received was delivered with integrity, compassion, and care.

Over time, I came to a powerful realization. That heart wasn’t just my signature.

I began to see that love isn’t just a feeling we share here in the physical world. It is the very frequency Spirit uses to connect with us. It’s the eternal, unbreakable bond that death cannot touch. It is the highest, purest form of energy, and it is the conduit for every validation, every memory, and every moment of healing that comes through in a session.

When a loved one brings through the memory of a forgotten song, it’s wrapped in love.
When they share an inside joke that makes us laugh through tears, it’s delivered with love.
When they offer forgiveness or a final “I love you,” it is the ultimate expression of love.

My role is not to generate this love, but to get out of the way and become a clear channel for it. To let it flow through my own heart and into our sacred space together.
